Pronumele personale inlocuiesc numele unei persoane, animal sau lucru.
In limba engleza exista doua seturi: unul pentru subiect (cine face actiunea) si unul pentru obiect (cine primeste actiunea).
Alegerea corecta depinde de rolul pronumelui in propozitie, nu de sensul lui.
Pronumele de subiect (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) stau inaintea verbului. Pronumele de obiect (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) stau dupa verb sau dupa o prepozitie. Spre deosebire de romana, pronumele nu se omite niciodata in engleza.

💡Sfat: O greseala frecventa este folosirea pronumelui de subiect dupa o prepozitie: "between you and I" este gresit. Corect este "between you and me", pentru ca dupa "between" urmeaza intotdeauna forma de obiect.
