Unele greseli apar des la vorbitorii de limba romana pentru ca traducem structuri direct din limba materna.
Aceasta lectie aduna cele mai frecvente 10 capcane: verbe folosite gresit, prepozitii incorecte si false friends (cuvinte care par la fel dar au sens diferit).
10 greseli frecvente si cum le corectati
I have 30 years.I am 30 years old.
In engleza, varsta se exprima cu "to be", nu cu "to have" ca in romana.
I am agree with you.I agree with you.
"Agree" este deja verb; nu se foloseste impreuna cu "to be".
She is a very intelligent people.She is a very intelligent person.
"People" este plural. La singular se foloseste "person".
I go to home.I go home.
Cand "home" e folosit ca adverb de miscare, nu foloseste prepozitia "to".
Actually, I work as a teacher.Currently, I work as a teacher.
"Actually" inseamna "de fapt", nu "in prezent". Este un fals prieten clasic pentru vorbitorii de romana.
I depend of my parents.I depend on my parents.
"Depend" se foloseste cu prepozitia "on", nu "of".
He explained me the problem.He explained the problem to me.
"Explain" nu accepta un obiect indirect imediat dupa el; foloseste "to" inainte de persoana.
I am boring today.I am bored today.
"Boring" descrie ceva plictisitor; "bored" descrie starea persoanei care se plictiseste.
I am from of Romania.I am from Romania.
Dupa "from" nu se mai adauga prepozitia "of".
I very like it.I really like it. / I like it very much.
"Very" nu se pune direct inaintea unui verb; foloseste "really" inainte sau "very much" dupa verb.
💡Sfat: Cand o propozitie in limba engleza "suna ciudat" chiar daca gramatical pare corecta, cautati verbul: multe greseli tipice vin din a trata verbe engleze ca si cum ar functiona identic cu echivalentul lor din limba romana.
